Another new feature: You can now add your own comments/views/opinions to the articles on the web-site by using the 'comment' link at the bottom of all news articles. At the moment anyone can add a comment regardless of whether they are a member or not (may change if we get spam) but logged in users don't have to go through the anti-spam questions and can use the full range of features.

Cheers,

Adrian.

Hi everyone im probably going to give everyone a nice big headache with this one! Anyone have any idea,s yet how to operate a vhf and uhf radio whilst flying thy glider. I want to have a crack at a few comps this summer and im not sure what to do radio wise, i take it its a waiting game at the moment to c if casa maybe give us an exemption! I was hoping to buy a nice ic-41s soon but i dont want to find out ive wasted my hard earned cold hard cash and require something else! I also read about a repeater that could be used at non-towered airports that convert uhf to vhf within the 10 ks of a airport. Is this possible and what would the cost of one of these repeaters be? Cheers
