Lawrence Hargrave (Part 2)

IN HONOUR OF LAWRENCE HARGRAVE’S AIRBORNE ACHIEVEMENTS WITH BOX KITES AT STANWELL PARK. FLYSTANWELL IS CONDUCTING A 100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY FLYING FUN EVENT.

To all flystanwell non-participating pilot members and Commercial operators.

Flystanwell will be conducting a fun flying event for restricted paraglider and hangglider pilots, on the weekends of 21, 22 March or if the weather is unsuitable 28, 29 March.

This event is intended to assist low hour pilots to progress their skills in a safe and fun manner. To all other pilots - please be patient on the launch when this event is taking place. We envisage a window of approx. one hour, pending weather conditions.

The task will be decided on the day, however ideally an out and return to Hell Hole with a spot landing finish on the middle to southern end of the beach would be preferable.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
