An announcement to all those people who have asked to be able to join/renew their membership on the club website (www.flystanwell.com). Well if you have a credit card or bank account and an email address then you're in business!
If you go to the home page of the website and click on the 'Club Membership' menu item you will now see an 'online payments' options. Follow the instructions displayed and it will take you to the part of the site that lets you either join or renew your membership. Renewing your membership is the most straightforward, simply choose your name from the membership list and enter your email address. If your name isn't on the list then you're no longer on the membership database, probably because your membership has elapsed; you will need to re-join as a new member again. New members are asked to enter their full details e.g. Name, Address, HGFA membership number (the same as requested on the current paper form). Once this has been completed both new and renewing members will be shown a payments screen with the option of choosing their membership type (Full, Concession or Family Member).
We have chosen to use Paypal(www.paypal.com) as our payment processing partner. If you have a Paypal account already then just confirm your details and you're almost finished. If you don't or you've never even heard of them then don't worry you can just use your credit card, Paypal take the payment from you and pass it on to us. This will take place on the Paypal website but once you're finished you should get returned to our website.
Being a member means that you can log-in to the website and get access to 'member only' features like the ability to update all your membership details online. I would urge everyone to make sure their details are correct and update them if anything changes (like your email address).
